Never, Ever, Under Any Circumstances, Ever…
… buy teriyaki sauce in a bottle from the store! It’s way too easy and way too delicious to just make it yourself using the following recipe:

- First, put about a cup of water into a sauce pan of high heat.
- Add a little less than a cup of soy sauce, stir
- Add some fresh, or tubed wasabe
- Grate some fresh or frozen ginger into the pan, stir
- Mince some garlic and add to the pan, stir
- Add a heaping hunk of brown sugar to the sauce, stir and bring it to a boil
- Add a spoonful of corn starch to a half cup of cold water and mix, then add to the boiling sauce
- Let simmer until desired thicknes
Voila, the best teriyaki sauce you’ll ever have.
