Never, Ever, Under Any Circumstances, Ever…

… buy teriyaki sauce in a bottle from the store! It’s way too easy and way too delicious to just make it yourself using the following recipe:

  1. First, put about a cup of water into a sauce pan of high heat.
  2. Add a little less than a cup of soy sauce, stir
  3. Add some fresh, or tubed wasabe
  4. Grate some fresh or frozen ginger into the pan, stir
  5. Mince some garlic and add to the pan, stir
  6. Add a heaping hunk of brown sugar to the sauce, stir and bring it to a boil
  7. Add a spoonful of corn starch to a half cup of cold water and mix, then add to the boiling sauce
  8. Let simmer until desired thicknes

Voila, the best teriyaki sauce you’ll ever have.
